Take the plunge into wedding dance lessons
If the prospect of dancing at your own or a friend's wedding fills you with fear why not take some evening wedding dance classes? Meet some new people and master some moves at a class near you.

It might be your wedding that is swiftly approaching, or that of a friend of relative. Whoever the lucky bride and groom to be may be, you’ll still need to dust off your dancing shoes and take to the dance floor to celebrate the new union. If you struggle with two left feet when it comes to moving, wedding dance lessons might help you to overcome your fear and wow your dance partners the whole night long.

There’s a range of different dances that you could learn, from the passionate Salsa, to the more sedate Waltz. Whatever style of dance will feature at the wedding in question, you can be sure that there will be lessons providing you with the ability to suitably show off.

Of course, you could gain still more from wedding dance lessons than mere skills on the dance floor. You could even find yourself developing some lifelong friendships, or even more. As you grab a partner from those other individuals waiting to learn to enhance their footfalls on the dance floor, there’ll be plenty of opportunity to chat and to laugh together. Take full advantage of this excellent chance to grow your social circle and never be short of a dance partner again the next time you want to hit some dance bars.

For the to-be-weds taking dance lessons, you aren’t excluded from the possibility of creating friendships because you already have a partner. In fact, it’s likely that many other couples present will be in the same situation as you; about to take the first step into marriage and wishing to be successful on the dance floor as they do so. It’s a priceless opportunity to meet more individuals that understand exactly where you are at, don’t be surprised if some of these friendships don’t become life-long.

Finding the right class for you doesn’t need to be a difficult process. These days, hobby classes are incredibly common, opening wide the door of opportunity when it comes to learning a variety of skills, knowledge or simply expanding on an interest. With everything from antenatal classes to cookery classes on offer at every local college and facility, the choices may seem overwhelming. But don’t be troubled, instead consider the following points to ensure you end up in the right dance class for you:

The cost. Before you attend any lessons or sign up for anything make sure that you have a budget in mind. Wedding dance class prices vary considerably so find the one that you can afford.

The time. Busy lives often prevent us from getting involved in the activities we would like to. Check how frequently the classes run and whether you need to attend them all. There’s no point in signing up for classes that you won’t be able to attend.

The style of music. If you are the bride or groom to be you’ll be well placed to know what music will be playing. Attend lessons that suit that style. For other guests, simply pop a question to the to-be-weds, they’ll be happy to let you know whether it’s a Tango or Street dancing that you need.
